so the terrible storms
didnt reach new york city
while
i feel for those
who did get hit
i am not sorry it missed us
the drizzle of saturday
made
me
wish
wish
my glasses
had
wiper blades
our harry is a very sensitive boy
a scavenger
with a fragile tummy
we went
from
litter box cowpies
to
what looked like chocolate syrup
smelled like rotting sewage
i do not exaggerate
okay
but
only a little
after two days of this
he and i went to the vet
friday late afternoon
he's a big boy
11.75 lbs
he is not easy to carry
he does gymnastics in the carrier
but
he behaved nicely for dr mohr
she asked for a sample
of his poop
to see
what is causing
his stinky poop distress
he was nice enough to accommodate
shortly after we got home
SO
saturday morning in the misty drizzle
i walked the poop to the vet
awesome
sunday beautification at polished

Wow! Love your nails!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that Harry is having tummy trubbles, hope it clears up soon. He is a nice-sized young man and so handsome! Give him a few scratches for me, please-
That rain shot is Steichen! Hope Harry destinks soon. Pixie dust! I love hanging out wit chew.
ReplyDeleteAloha
I'm sorry to hear that Harry is having a problem and doesn't feel well. That's not good at all. For anyone! LOVE those nail colors!!! Positively LOVE them!! The Best!! xo Jeanne
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image. I really like the dark, rainy, arty feel of it.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the stinky poop, sounds awful.
Oh poor Harry, hope the vet makes him better. Loving your nails!
ReplyDeleteOkay...have to admit...coulda done with less details about Harry while sitting here drinking my coffee. :-) but....L.O.V.E. this image...way to go, girl!!
ReplyDeleteYou need something to make your nails nice after carrying around cat poop.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the nail color! It makes me miss my nails that I faithfully wore for 10 years. Poor kitty, hopefully Doc can figure it out and make the stinkies go away. Cool photo, definitely called for black and white.
ReplyDeleteOoooh the pixie dust is fab! And i do enjoy the under the canopy shot, very moody. I hope that Harry feels better very soon!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope that Harry feels better soon.
ReplyDeletePoor baby.
I love the green nail polish!
Realy, really like the bw photo. And snazzy nails! Poor kitty....
ReplyDeleteWhen he feels better, Harry can try his hand (paw) at this fun cat pastime.
ReplyDeleteDang. Link didn't work: http://youtu.be/KIePsbJSS04 Watch it and laugh.

ReplyDeleteDaryl, so glad you were able to take your cat poop for a walk!
ReplyDeleteThat really is green nail polish! Does it glow in the dark! Seems to me it should..
Poor Harry! Mister and Miss send wishes for quick recovery. (insert joke about walking poop & leashes here)
ReplyDeleteLove love love that photo!!
I wish you a better day with no more poop patrol required.
ReplyDeleteThose colors are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteAh, Zabars...
Oh the things we'll do for our pets, right? I hope everything is okay with Harry!
ReplyDeleteOh my...walking with stinky poop in the rain. Makes going to the dentist tomorrow in the rain (driving) seem like a piece of cake!
ReplyDeleteHope Harry's tummy is better soon :)
Although the finish is matte, the color on the right is nearly the same as my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI can be thankful that today I was just driving in the terrible rain and not walking (with anything!)
Bises,
Genie
If that isn't a contrast, I don't know what is! Stinky cat poop and beautiful pale green nail polish! ;-)
ReplyDeletePoor old Harry, hope he picks up soon. Did I tell you already that I think you and Aimee are kindred spirits!!
ReplyDeletePoor kitty! And poor you ... not a pleasant situation. Hope all is much better now.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot, Daryl!
ReplyDeleteHaving met the wonderful Harry, I am praying (yes, I am) that he will be OK. Let's hope it's nothing more than a passing bug of some sort.
Oh, also meant to say that the fingernails on the right are magnificent! Love that color!
ReplyDeleteLove those nail colors... I do my own with shellac by CND, speaking of which I need to re-do my nails its been a couple weeks...
ReplyDeleteThe nails look great, the photo is awesome and your cat is very accommodating...
